Mahindra S10 MY18 Pik-up
Started life as a standard S10 MY18 Pik-Up then added:
- Mahindra supplied:
- tow bar
- heavy duty aluminium tray
- rear ladder rack
- full bull bar
- suspension upgrade (EFS front and rear shock absorbers and Leaf springs)
- all weather fitted mats (note these are only 2 carpet front mats)
- steel bash plate
- weather shields
- snorkel (raised air intake)
- fitted seat covers
- After market:
- winch (Ironman)
- aluminium gullwing box (1200x1780x850) (Arrow Toolquip via Ebay)
- 2 x XTM modular drawers with slides from BCF
- Awning from Aldi and dome shade from BCF

Building the box for the tray. Started with a bare box from Arrow Toolquip. Added wooden frame structure to house 2 XTM modular drawers with slides from BCF.
Specifications:
- Tare weight - 2140kg (note this is more than the published tare as its after all accessories).
- Trip weight - 2850kg (all loaded 3 passengers)
- GVM - 3150kg
Mats - As indicated above, the Mahindra mats are just 2 carpet front mats.
Just head to Autobarn and buy a full back and 2 single front mats. Front fit without a trim, back needs slight trimming.
Sonic animal repeller - so far so good .....
The S10 is not delivered with a lockable fuel cap. Just pop into a Repco and buy a standard diesel lockable cap, fits perfectly.
Fuel Economy - Open road 80 to 90km/h gets you 13km per litre. Open road 100 to 110 km/h gets you 10km per litre.
Tyres and pressures - General Grabber GT 245/75/R16. Unladen Front 30psi and Rear 36psi. Laden Front 36psi and Rear 44psi.
